Hillsborough County, Fla. (April 22, 2024) - For 10 years, Hillsborough County's Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprise (MBE) and Small Business Encouragement (SBE) programs have hosted the Open Doors Forum, a free business networking event that supports minority and small business contractors by helping local small businesses make meaningful connections.
During those 10 years, thousands of entrepreneurs have connected with new work and new contracts at the annual event, and many business success stories have resulted.
At the 10th Annual Open Doors Forum, business owners will meet prime contractors, subcontractors, government agencies, small business loan specialists, and representatives from financial institutions. Participants will learn how to do business with local government agencies and hear details and testimonials about the County's Small Contractor Development Program, which is offered twice a year by the County's MBE & SBE Programs Office.
