Hurricane Debby Update No. 7

Hillsborough County, Fla. (Aug. 5, 2024) - Hillsborough County is urging business owners to report storm damage to their business through the Florida Department of Commerce's Business Damage Assessment Survey.

Hillsborough County business and commercial property owners can use the State of Florida's Business Damage Assessment Survey to help make the state aware of the extent of damage done by Hurricane Debby. Completion of the survey by as many business owners as possible helps to ensure the appropriate services will be available for recovery efforts.

Providing information in the survey helps to determine damage related to disaster impacts in Florida, but does NOT serve as an application for resources. To apply for disaster loans and resources, go to this link on the FloridaDisaster.biz site to learn more. After filling out the survey, federal, state or local agencies may reach out to you through the contact information provided if you indicate your interest.

Business owners who need assistance completing the form can call the Hillsborough County Entrepreneur Collaborative Center at (813) 204-9267.
