Hillsborough County, Fla. (April 16, 2025) - Hillsborough County residents in Ruskin and Sun City Center can provide feedback on safety improvements proposed for Cypress Village Boulevard in southern Hillsborough County.
This virtual public engagement is designed to gather feedback from residents on improvements to-date and overall safety along Cypress Village Boulevard. The engagement also seeks to collect input regarding additional safety features. A public meeting will be held Monday, April 21, in Sun City Center. Responses to the virtual public engagements and at the public meeting will contribute to the future of the corridor.
Hillsborough County is proposing three potential safety improvements that residents can review that range from enhanced safety signage to removal of golf cart accessibility along the corridor. Each has explanations of how they would increase safety along the corridor.
