Hillsborough County, Fla. (June 16, 2025) - Hillsborough County Mosquito Management Services will conduct aerial applications of Dibrom to control adult mosquitoes on Monday, June 16, between 8 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. The treatments at the following locations did not happen on their previously announced dates because of weather:

Gibsonton

North Boundary: Symmes Road
South Boundary: Big Bend Road
East Boundary: Interstate 75
West Boundary: Williams Street

Apollo Beach

North Boundary: Signet Drive
South Boundary: College Avenue
East Boundary: Tamiami Trail
West Boundary: Little Manatee River State Trail

The application rate is .66 ounces per acre. The mission will be flown by a twin-engine airplane at an altitude of 300 feet.

First alternate spray date: June 17, 2025
Second alternate spray date: June 18, 2025
