If you are a frequent visitor to our conservation parks or boat ramps, get an annual pass
Hillsborough County's Annual Conservation Parks Pass program and our boat ramp pass program allows participants to enjoy the area's best parks and surrounding waters year round without having to pay a fee each time they visit.
Types of Passes
Park passes
Park Passes include entry to Hillsborough County Conservation Parks and do not cover camping, canoe rentals and boat ramps.
- Individual Passes allow for one person to enter a park.
- The individual pass only covers entry for one person per vehicle, additional passengers are $1 per person.
- Family Passes allow for up to 8 people in one vehicle to enter a park.
Boat Ramp passes
Boat ramp passes only include the use of county boat ramps and do not provide entry into parks or cover charges for camping or canoe rentals.
After-hours fishing permits
The After-Hours Fishing program is a privilege that allows fishermen to access select parks or preserves to fish after regular hours. After-Hours Fishing Permits can be used only at these locations:
- Apollo Beach Nature Preserve
- Edward Medard Conservation Park
- EG Simmons Conservation Park

Fees
- $50 - Individual pass hang tag
- $100 - Family pass hang tag
- $100 - Boat ramp pass hang tag
- $30 - After Hours Fishing pass
Discounts available for the passes
We offer several different discounts for residents, military members, Veterans, and those working in or for Hillsborough County.
Hillsborough County Residents who are 100% disabled
- Receive a 50% discount on the issuance of annual park individual, family and boat ramp passes
- Must provide proof of residency and disability
First Responders living, or working, in Hillsborough County
- Receive a 25% discount on the issuance of annual park individual, family and boat ramp passes
- Must provide proof of employment
Hillsborough County residents age 65 and older
- Receive a 25% discount on the issuance of annual park individual and family entrance passes
- Must provide proof of residency and age
BOCC employees
- Receive a 25% discount on the issuance of annual park individual and family entrance passes
- Must provide proof of employment
Active duty military and Veterans
- Member of the he U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard or Reserves
- Receive a 25% discount on the issuance of annual park individual, family and boat ramp passes
- Must provide proof of residency and military service
Hillsborough County disabled Veterans
- Receive a free annual park individual, family, or boat ramp pass
- Must meet the following requirements:
- Live in Hillsborough County
- Honorably discharged
- Have a service-connected disability
- Must provide proof of service connected disability and residency
- Surviving spouses and parents of deceased members of the Armed Forces, National Guard or Reserves who have fallen in combat are also eligible for this benefit
Rules for discounts
Rules for Discounted Passes
Park entry passes and boat ramp passes are separate. If you need both, you must request each pass.
Discounted annual park entry passes cover park admission only. They do not include fees for other services, such as camping, canoe rentals, or boat ramps.
Discounts are not available for after-hours fishing passes.
Discount Passes are available for purchase in person only at the Conservation Parks Administrative Complex or Bell Creek Administrative Office. (see addresses below).
Rules for FREE Passes
- Free annual park entry passes cover park admission only. They do not include fees for other services, such as camping, canoe rentals, or boat ramps.
- Free annual boat ramp passes provide access to Hillsborough County boat ramps only. They do not include park entry or cover fees for camping or canoe rentals.
- A valid Hillsborough County boat registration must be presented to obtain a free annual boat ramp pass.
Free Park Entry or Boat Passes are available only to Hillsborough County residents and must be obtained in person at one of the following locations:

- All passes are hangtags and are transferable from vehicle to vehicle
- If you want to purchase your pass online you must have an online account created

How it works
- Select the park pass that is right for you
- Purchase it online, visit a park (see list below), or download, complete, and mail the Annual Entrance Pass/Boat Launch Form
