Dengue Fever Prompts Hillsborough County to Declare State of Local Emergency

Hillsborough County Mosquito Management Services will conduct aerial applications of Dibrom insecticide to control adult mosquitoes from 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 to 6 a.m. Sept. 25.

Riverview and Bloomingdale will be treated.

Pasco County Mosquito Control District will be helping in Hillsborough neighborhoods this week.

Daytime aerial operations are planned to specifically target mosquito larvae across most of central Tampa.
