How to identify a county vehicle
County vehicles feature 6-digit identification numbers on the front driver's-side bumper and back passenger-side bumper.
The vehicle ID number and/or license plate number are required to submit a case.
Details such as the color, size, and type of vehicle are useful and should be included in the submission.
Non-county vehicle reporting
Vehicles with identifying information for the following organizations should be reported directly to that entity:
- Hillsborough County Public School buses and vehicles
- HART buses and vehicles
- Sheriff's Office vehicles
