Notice of Commencement
A Notice of Commencement (NOC) is required on improvements to real property when the project cost is greater than $5,000. For a project requiring only a mechanical permit, including one which involves the repair or replacement of an existing heating or air-conditioning system, a Notice of Commencement is required when the project cost is $15,000 or greater.
NOC instructions
- Make sure that the NOC is recorded and certified at the Clerk's office then you can upload it on the HillsGovHub portal.
